This fossil is the tooth of the Otodus shark, it lived in the oceans tens of millions of years ago and is the ancestor of the great white shark. From the tooth (up to 10 cm) it is apparent that this shark was a large predator, spanning up to 9 m in length! YIKES - and we thought JAWS was scary!
