The grooves engraved in the two rotating boards are called "logarithmic spirals." These two grooves always cross at right angles, and a square hole is formed at their intersection. The goal of this puzzle is to remove the helix ring that goes through that hole. The inspiration for this puzzle is the flower : morning glory. The puzzle was designed to look like a bud that comes into bloom with twining tendrils. The original concept dates back to 1990, but it has been enhanced with the addition of several tricky features.

Ce casse tête a eu un très grand succès auprès de mes amis mais l'un d'entre eux, très fort, a trouvé la solution en moins d'une heure quand les autres se sont acharné dessus sans succès!

Ce casse-tête est à la hauteur de sa description. On est 4 dessus à essayer de sortir cette satanée boucle de l'étoile depuis la veille de Noël. J'écris ces lignes le 26 au soir ...
