We've all got some old stuff at home, but not everyone is lucky enough to have something older than 200 million years!
Ammonites were mollusks living in the oceans during the prehistoric age. They disappeared with the dinosaurs - 65 million years ago. Their shells have a characteristic spiral shape which makes them a great decorative piece.
The Ammonite has been cut in half crosswise to better showcase the seemingly endless spiral within.
