The Igloo

This is a piece of art, that enables you to become an artist, so to speak, by creating your very own candle-lit ice sculpture. Personalize your igloo by using colored water or etching drawings into the ice.

A few words on how to create your own igloo.

Step 1 : Place the plastic grid in the mold and fill water up to the grid barrier. Don't freak out if you go a little over, it's ok!

Step 2 : Place the mold (with the grid) in the freezer and let it freeze for about 3 hours, or until frozen through.

Step 3 : Take the mold and flip it over, and run warm water over the bottom of the mold. The ice igloo will detach easily.

Step 4 : Position the newly formed igloo with it's grid back onto the mold dish but flipped, so that instead of fitting into the mold it stands as an igloo on the plastic grid. Light a candle and drop it into the center. No worries about messy wet puddles since all the ice drippings will fall neatly back into the mold under the igloo!
